Qualifying procedure for first-cycle studies is based on the recruitment points awarded to the candidate for the results of the high school-leaving examination or International Baccalaureate/European Baccalaureate. Each field of study has been assigned subjects taken at the high school-leaving examination, for which a candidate can receive recruitment points.

The candidate can be accepted for second-cycle studies if she/he holds a diploma of completion of studies. Qualifying procedure is conducted in a form of a competition and is based on the average grade in the course of completed first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies or long-cycle studies (calculated to two decimal places). The candidate can be accepted for second-cycle studies in the field of “nursing” if he/she holds a diploma of completion of first-cycle studies in the field of “nursing” (licencjat pielęgniarstwa).
